Ecomed Medical (Pty) Ltd was founded in 1997 and has become a major supplier to the hospital, pre-hospital and homecare markets.

Headquartered in Krugersdorp, we have seventeen branches nationally with a staff compliment of more than 230 employees. Our professional staff include clinical engineers, registered nurses (ICU, theatre and trauma), paramedics and product specialists. Collectively they have a wealth of knowledge and related experience to ensure optimal service and solutions to our customers.

We stock a comprehensive range of spares to ensure a quick turnaround of products needing service, repair or maintenance.  In addition, we have competent technical teams to repair and maintain equipment on site.

2. Homecare

​

This division was started in the year 2000, supplying both CPAP and oxygen related equipment with over 80% of specialist practioners referring patients to Ecomed Medical. We have over 10,000 patients currently benefiting from the use of our oxygen concentrators. Besides CPAP and oxygen, we provide rental options for pulse oximeters, mobile suction units, humidifiers, cylinders and concentrators. Ecomed is an exclusive provider of CPAP, oxygen products and solutions to the following medical aids in South Africa.

3.  Oxygen

Ecomed provides oxygen generation solutions nationally. We have eleven oxygen refilling plants located nationwide catering to both homecare patients and businesses. ER24, a reputable, well established emergency services provider in South Africa, currently makes use of our oxygen filling services nationally.

4. PainSol

Ecomed represents AVANOS, one of the most prominent international providers of nerve ablation (Rhizotomy) equipment. We have numerous well-respected neurosurgeons and orthopaedic surgeons making use of our AVANOS range for pain management procedures.
